This is our first episode recorded post-election. Welcome to the new world! We unpack some of our feelings regarding this hellscape. On Chunch Chat, we’re experience a Chunch news drought. We talk Martha’s new show, in which she offers some wisdom about prison and being struck by lightning. On Wiki of the Week, we discover the page for Candle Salad. It’s a really funny looking salad - Look up a picture. We forgo our traditional Expert Hour segment for an interview with non fictional experts. Cynthia Sanchez is an organizer who works for PICO, who organizes around immigration, homelessness, youth, district elections and voter engagement. Katt Hoban is a former youth worker, community organizer, and occupier who studies social movements in the sociology PhD program at UC Irvine.

Got your emergency go bags ready? We recorded this before the election and hope that this still brings you some joy in these uncertain times. On Chunch Chat, we’re hopefully so close to getting a Chunch update! We skewer take on the bots who hang out in Martha’s blog comments section. On Wiki of the Week, we cover a condition called Penis Captivus, which doesn’t sound like a lot of fun. Jenny Zigrino joins us to talk about the various religious camps she attended as a child. We thought we booked Julian Assange of Wikileaks fame, but we made a simple mistake. Shoelean Assange joins us to talk about his website Wikifeet.com.
